Return & Exchange Policy

At House of Anita Dongre, we strive to make your shopping experience seamless. Please find the details of our return and exchange policies below.

 

Online Orders – India

We accept returns of unused products in original condition (unwashed, undamaged, with tags intact) within 7 days of delivery for a refund or online gift card. Return requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery.

 

To initiate a return:

  • Registered users: Log in to your account, go to the “Orders” section, click “View Details” and raise a return request.

  • Guest users: Use the “Check Order” option on our website and follow the steps.


Return steps:

  1. Click “Request a Return”, select items to return, choose a return reason, confirm the product is unused, and click “Proceed to Return”.

  2. Select your refund method (refund to original payment source or bank account in case of COD).

  3. Once the request is registered, a Return ID and courier partner details will be shared.

  4. Our courier partner will collect the return within 1–2 business days. You can verify the Return ID with the courier executive.

  5. Please pack the product in its original packaging, include the invoice (circle the returned items), and ensure all tags are intact.

  6. Once we receive and inspect the return, your refund will be processed. Refunds typically take 5–7 working days to reflect.

 

Important Exclusions

We do not offer returns or refunds on the following:

  • Jewellery and accessories (unless defective).

  • Customised (made-to-order) products.

  • Pre-order items

  • Altered garments

  • Discounted or sale items (unless damaged or defective)

  • For jewellery and accessories, unless you received them in a poor/broken/damaged condition, we will send you a replacement of the same product. In the event of non-availability of the product, we will issue you a refund via online gift card.

 

For items priced above INR 50,000, eligible returns will be refunded via online gift card only.

Please allow up to 15 days for return and exchange processing from the date of request.

 

We do not offer merchandise Exchange or Return on orders shipped internationally. In an unlikely event if any merchandise you have received is in a damaged condition or defective, please reach out to us at care@anitadongre.com within 48 hours of receiving the order. Our representative will guide you on this matter.

 

Note: There might be duties/taxes applicable when you return items to us, so kindly do not ship anything back to us without writing to our customer care. We will not be liable to pay any duties/taxes arising due to return shipment.

 

In-Store Purchases – India

In the unlikely event of any issues with your product such as those regarding colour, size or manufacturing defects, we accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of purchase. A credit note valid for 3 months will be issued, redeemable at any Anita Dongre store in India.

  • Cash refunds are not offered for in-store purchases.

  • Products must be returned in original condition, preferably with packaging, invoice, and tags intact.

  • Returns/exchanges are not applicable on:

    • Accessories and jewellery

    • Discounted and on-sale merchandise


Post-usage defect claims and exchanges are accepted up to 3 months from the date of purchase, subject to evaluation by our quality team.
